At the Creative Tools 10’th anniversary 3D expo (video coming soon) we got a chance to scan our new mascot Barrii with one of the many different kinds of desktop 3D scanners available on the market today! Within seconds, the real object we lovingly call Barrii was copied into a 3D computer model, together with the gravely floor it was resting upon at the time. While this image is quite cool in it self, there are other kinds of desktop 3D scanners that does a much better job at turning real objects into computer models.
